Mariet obtained a B.Sc. Food Science degree from the University of Stellenbosch.

She developed an interest in marketing after some exposure to this field, and then enrolled in and completed a Postgraduate Marketing Diploma, after which she gained some practical work experience in the various aspects of digital marketing.

In her role as the Technical Digital Marketing Specialist at FACTS, Mariet strives to use her scientific and marketing background to make a difference. She is dedicated, and values a strong work ethic, precision, and a stimulating working environment.

In her free time Mariet enjoys running, exploring new wine farms, and having a good time with her family and friends.
