AlerTox®•Sticks Almond uses a combination of monoclonal antibodies to detect a major almond antigen (Pru du 6) a legumin-like 11S seed storage protein, prunin/amandin. It exhibits no cross-reactivity with cereals, legumes or other nuts, including walnut, pecan, peanut, hazelnut, cashew, macadamia, Brazil nut and coconut.

The range of detection (ROD) is 20-10 000 ppm.

No special equipment is required, and results can be generated in as little as 10-15 minutes.
