AlerTox®●Sticks Sesame uses a combination of monoclonal antibodies against a sesame antigen, the 2S seed storage protein (2S albumin) known as allergen Ses i2, that detect antigens in white sesame and black sesame. It exhibits no cross-reactivity with the antigens of cereals, legumes, nuts and other seeds.

The test is easy to perform and has a range of detection (ROD) of 3-20 000 ppm.

Results can be generated in as little as 10-15 minutes, with no need for any special equipment.
