More information about Hygiena ATP Positive Control Kit
The Hygiena ATP Positive Control Kit provides a known ATP control for checking the performance of compatible ATP surface test devices. It can be incorporated into quality-control procedures to help confirm that test devices have been stored and are performing as expected.
Each kit contains 25 vials containing 5 × 10⁻¹³ moles of lyophilised ATP and sugar. The control material is used with a compatible Hygiena ATP test device and luminometer, following the product instructions.
Positive-control testing can be useful when implementing an ATP programme, investigating unexpected results or verifying test-device performance after concerns about storage conditions. Results should be documented and assessed against the acceptance criteria provided in the relevant kit instructions or site procedure.
The Positive Control Kit checks compatible ATP test devices. It is not intended to replace routine instrument calibration, maintenance or cleaning verification testing.
