BIOGRAPHY
Bianca completed her B.Sc. Honours in Microbiology at Stellenbosch University, with a focus on yeast biotechnology. Her research explored genetic modification of Kluyveromyces lactis to improve protein production.
In her current role, Bianca is responsible for preparing samples for extraction and analysis and conducting tests for protein detection in food products. Additionally, she ensures the laboratory’s compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation standards.
In her free time, Bianca enjoys hiking and trying out new restaurants. When she is home she loves to watch series, crochet and play board games with friends and family.
