I have always been passionate about the science of food; at FACTS, I have exposure to a multifaceted approach to food science, which allows me the opportunity to learn and grow in multiple aspects.

BIOGRAPHY

Khyla completed her Bachelor of Science degree in molecular biology and biotechnology at the University of Stellenbosch, majoring in microbiology and biochemistry. During her studies she attended a course on HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and knew that food safety was the direction for her.

Currently, she assists FACTS clients with their consumer assurance projects.

In her free time Khyla loves staying active, trying out new recipes, and visiting different restaurants and farmers’ markets. She enjoys reading and keeping up to date on recent events in the food industry.
